An imposing gob lin guarded the entrance to the home, while a typical old witch presided over the ghoata, who did a war-time dance around a large fire, carrying gleaming torches, which lighted up the ground. A feature of the even lng'e entertainment that created con siderable merriment waa a chase oa the lawn after three fortune telling ghosts. After games, bobbing for apples, fortune telling and other served by the ladies. stunts, the guests were invited to partake ot a delightful lunch. The tables wore beautifully decorated with Jack o'Lanterns. autumn learaa, cats, witches, etc., and all voted the lunch and the party one ot the beat ever given in Mills Addition. Emon of Fort Klamath are in this city on a short visit. To Enlarge Hospital A. J. Lyle, manager of the local hospital, returned last evening with Mrs. Lyle from a- trip to San Fran cisco. While In the city, Mr. Lyle conferred with E. B. Ryan, owner of the hospital building, with reference to an addition to the building so as to increase the present capacity. He waa authorised to secure estimates on the cost of the needed addition, which are to be submitted for Mr. Ryan's consideration. WlU Lee Is IaapTOvaaf. A, J.
