ORBOON SATUItDAY, OCTOBKR 18 1I4 AND STOP AT KLAMATH FALLS SHOULD WIMTR A HOOK IF JUDOK WORDEX mutt uubur den hi mind on the long suffer ing public of all hit personal troubles, wo believe It would be more appreci ated by the people of Klamath county If he would write a book. "The Soul lens Timber Corporations vs. The Southern Pacific," might be an appro priate title. The fact U the people of Klamath county are beginning to get tired of the troubles of tbe county court. The Letter No. 1 and Letter No. 3, and so on, are beginning to get awful monot onous, and some of us would like to have a little time to think about our own troubles. The public has no Interest in what Mr. Long said; or what Mr. Lysle, or Mr. Day, or Mr Word en may have said. The county court made a grave mistake when it permitted Itself to enter into a secret agreement with the Weyerhauaer company or any oth er corporation for the management of the county business. Any such an agreement, secret or otherwise, was an admission on Its face by the coun ty court that It was not conducting the business of the county in a legal and proper manner. We are of tbe opinion that Judge Worden would not be permitted to manage the business ot the Klamath Development company, or any other concern, If be was continually run ning to tbe stockholders with his troubles and complaints about being double crossed by some other concern. Business men demand results, and are not satisfied with excuses for failures. WITH ANTWERP added to her other ruined cities, and all tbe ter ritory leading up to It devastated, her people starving and her crops ruined, Belgium is learning that even a nation's promises are not fulfilled.
