KLAMATH FUEL CO., o. 1 1ST. It hat only been a few weeks since a meeting was hold iu Med ford with delegates from Klamath, Josephine and Jackson counties to boon natural 'attractions ot Southern Oregon. A a 'meeting It was a great success. Flow ery poaches were made telling of the great scenic wonders. Hut what good fare such meeting unless some con- certcd action U taken afterward; i It Crater Lake and other local 'scenic attractions were located in Cal ifornia, more than 100,000 people would rUlt there eiery year, boms action should be taken immediately to advertise these attractions, which will have its effect nest year, a well as this. Tbo railroads hare granted rates of ono and one-third faro to Crater Lake land return In Idaho, Washington. (Oregon and California. The South 'era Pacific is doing good advertising ;for Southern Oregon. But some sup plemental advertising of scenic at tractions 1 also needed, one that will reach the general public The following plan 1 suggested as !the most effective as well as the cheapest, to advertise in tho Sunday Issues In the newspapers having the largest circulation in Spokane. Taco- ma. Seattle, Sacramento, San Fran cisco and Los Angeles. Special rate can be had for three months' adver tising. Such advertising should begin by May 31 and continue to Septem ber 1. Approximately it would cost 1330, or abont $120 per month. Many of the business men have already sig nified their willingness to help with a few dollars' subscription for the three months' season.
