TWKLVK 'CHINAMEN" SHIPPED FROM STATU FARM TO JUDGK GRIFFITH WILL UK LIBER ATED BOON Twelve Mongolian pheasants arriv ed In Klamath Falls Sunday, consign ed to Judge J. B. Griffith. After the birds become acclimated they will be liberated. The pheaaanta were shipped here from the Simpson game farm at Cor vallls at the direction of State Game Warden Flnley, aa efforts are now be ing made to stock Klamath county with this splendid game bird. During the past few winters pheaa anta have been shipped here, and all have survived, showing that the weather Is not too severe. Most of the birds, however, have fallen vic tims of pot hunters, but the farmers and sportsmen are keeping a close watch to see that the last few birds brought here are not killed. Sixty-four pheaaanta have been lib erated since last fall, and they have shown up regularly at ranch, bouses for food during the winter.
