ITS IN STYLE a JUST It LIKE n. THIS Since the election returns hate been made known one member of Mayor Sanderson's family seems to be dlssatlaled, for today he was seen walking down the S. P. tracks In the theTdlrectlon of Weed and Sunny Cal ifornia. The deserting members of the mayor'a family Is "Jack," tho golden cocker spaniel, who was tt one time the pride of the executive's heart, but who later became so pop ular all through town that he seemed to forget about his raastor, and only dropped around once In a great whllu to pay the family a friendly visit. At one time Jack .was as pretty a dog aa one would like to look upon, and he was particularly obedient. Ho readily made friends, who were al ways ready to feed him bits, and as time wore on ho soon bad established for himself a "handout route" that would mako a professional bum take notice, while ho had sleeping quarters In every part ot tho city. Yesterday Ma or Sanderson noticed Jack mak ing himself popular with the dcnlteas of the hobo camp near the Hot Springs, and thla afternoon hn was not greatly surprised to see the ca nlno meandering down the track with a number of boxcar tourists. Jack seemed to have no compunction at all about leaving tho town of his birth, and the maoi did not think It worth whllo to bid tbo dog farewell.
