"While walking through one of the
prominent streets the other day," suid

pied an important looking piece of pa
per on the sidewalk and, picking it up.
found It to be a pawn ticket for a dia
mond scarfpln which some careless
person bud apparently dropped.
"According to the ticket, tbe pin had
been pledged several weeks before for
