The costumes of Prof. Riggo's (Will iam Chandler) otchestra, which played for the dance were as unique as any of the dancers. Hans Huerlein was a tierce looking youth with a fuz of beard. Att Clarke, with a red patch on his knee, was a plantation darky. The professor, himself, had on all the parphernalia of a professional conduc tor. K. A. Kincaid failed to don any festive garb. However, he was up to the harmonious occasion in every way. Shortly before midnight a lunch of coffee and sandwiches was served by A. M. lioyce. Alleged Thief Taken Here Receiving a telephone message from Sheriff Levi Chrisman, of The Dalles Saturday asking them to be on the lookout for Frank Moure, who is wanted in Baker on charges of horse stealing and larceny, the local ofliceri at once began a search for a man of the description given and a few mo ments later Sherilf Thomas F. Johnson and Marshal Robert T. Lewis arrested him.
