Mr. Scott replied that ho hmr given tho matter consideration sluco taking charge of tho nnssongor traf fic of tho Southern Pacific nnd would 'nuthorlco tho local agent, Mr. llosonhnum, to go ahead and nrrango for tho excursion, further stating tho date would bo Deeomher 27 nnd In stead of a 30-day limit tho tickets would ho limited to 90 days, with stopover privileges In either direc tion. Good equipment will bo fur nished and everything possible done to mnko tho excursion as successful as thoso of previous years. Mr. Scott stated tho Los Angeles oxcruslon from horo last January greatly exceeded In numbers tho ex pectation of all tho railroad officials, 102 people taking advantage of the low rate a remarkablo showing for Medford. 11 MEEKER TO MOVE ONTO MAIN STREET PRESIDENT PLANS GREAT LOVE FEASTi WASHINGTON, D. C, Nov.. 23. -President Tnft will be host to nil members of tho republican national committee nt n dinner in the White House December 1, for which invita tions nre out todny. Tho dinner is regarded ns the nctive conuncno ment of the real work of the presi dent's cnmpnJRU for re-election in 1912, nnd is considered ns a. love fenst for tho purpose of solidifying tho party. The dinner is expected to draw a tilinrp line between tho insurgents nnd tho gtnudpnt factions of the re publican party.
