C, Kelsoy, of Gold Hill, was elected chairman of tho convention and wounorn uoeson, or Talent, secre tary. A central purchasing commit too composed "of Sunt. Wells, Well born Beeson and C. P. Brlggs was appointed. The convention wilt reassemble this afternoon and several questions aro booked to come lip for discussion. Tho department sessions this af ternoon will bo conducted by Maude Laughead, Montana Hastings, J. H. Ackorman and 11. E. Redding. The closing address at 3:30 this nfternoon will bo by Prof. J. II. Ackorman, and his subject will be "Advance Steps in Oregon's Educa tional System, Past and Present." The exhibits of sewing and draw ing made by the students of the Medford schools Is creating no end of favorablo comment by tho visiting teachers.
