Among the principal cities he will visit and in which he has business, are Kansas City, St. Joseph and Des Moines. Will Phlpps and family arrived in Medford this morning from Calgary. Alberta. Mr. Phipps has disposed of his extensive interests In that north ern country and will hereafter re side here or In Southern California. Mr. Phlpps is a son of J. D. Supervisor Erlckson Thursday re ceived word that the final one of a number of small fires which hnve been burning In the national forest the past few days has been controlled and at present no fires are burning. Over 30 different fires havo started this season but nono has done any damage. The watch for new fires has been increased now that tho hunting sea son has opened In order to prevent a repitltlon of last year's experience.
