Niftclstcndt, and Mrs. E. G. Feluenbaeh entertained the 500 club at the home of Mrs. Fehrenback, Friday night. Mrs. Whitostcad won the ladies prize and Mr. llouck the gentlemen's. The nffair was in hon or of St. Patrick's day Mrs. C. S. Dudlov entertained wjth a 1 o'clock luncheon, Wednesday, in honor of her daughter, Mrs. Archer. The table was prettily decorated in white and green. Thoe present were Mc-dnmes Archer, Stokes, Ilafer, Charles Brown Ziiumer, Dunlop, Lux & Madam Dunlop. The- Juvenile Dancing club will give a dancing party Monday night, the 20th, In the small hall of the Natatorlum, after which a banquet will bo enjoyed. On account of the banquet, dancing will commence promptly at 8:30. Mrs. Gill of Winnipeg, Canada, who has been the guest of Mrs. Ilargrave for the past three months left Thurs day for Vancouver, whore she will visit betore returning to her home. The Firemen's ball, which was given at the Natatoriutn on the even ing of St. Patrick's day, wns a great success, and the financial returns were most satisfactory. Dr, and Mrs. J. J. Emmons of Portland have leased the McCray res idence on South Oakdale avenue. Dr. Emmons Is nn ny and oar specialist and will prastlcc his profession here. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Thompson of Gold Hill entertained Mrs. Charles Ray and Miss Mabel Hay Tuesday In honor of Miss Ray's birthday. Miss Dertha English entertained the Dramat'c club at her home Thursday evening.
