After de liberating for nn hour tho jury this afternoon returned a verdict of not guilty in the case of former State Senator Gardner charged with hav ing offered a bribe of $21,000 to Con gressman Foelker to vote against tho Hughes nntl-race track gambling bills while Foelker was a member of the New York state senate.
