To make this change is sound common sense, and sound business. .Its accomplishment can be brought about with profit to the railroad and to the city and the property own ers. The change should be made as soon as-possible, before the cit' grows any larger. The sooner it is made the cheap er it; can be done. f Medford is to become a big city, and everyone intends it shall be, it is absurd to split the business district with a railroad, and its perpetual inconvenience. The time has come to remodel the plans made for a village and adopt those designed for a city and in these plans the relocation of the railroad is a necessity. li the railroad does not want to make the change itsell, the city, either through the council or through the Com mercial club, or the business men, could arrange the de tails, negotiate the sale of the present right of way and the purchase of the new, according to plans furnish ed by the railroad.
