PORTLAND, Ore., Dec. 20. Uon resentlng tho Omaha Land Show, Fred A. Shank will visit Roseburg, Grants Pass. Medford and Ashland this week to look after the collec tion or exhibits for tho Omaha show, which will be held In January. , .Mr. Shank was ti visitor at tho Portland Commercial club today, where he told of his plans In lining up the Oregon display. The four cities to be visited are arranging ex hibits that will be used with other material from other portions of tho state. "Oregon will have a good represen tation at Oriahn," said Mr. Shank. Southern Oregon products will make tho farmers of the middle, west sit up and take notice, la my opinion, for they arc not used to seeing such fruit as you grow out here. This exhibit will give your state a great deal of good and will niako Its resources moro widely known' among tho clnss of people you want to reach than al most anything you could possibly do In the way of advertising." C. C. Chapman, manager of the Portland Commercial club, held a conference with Mr. Shank this morning and declared himself heart ily in favor 01 Oregon making a "tedltablo display. "This organization would havo tak m the mat tor up and collected the n-hlblt but for the fart that it Is out af our line of work ami the dlffer mt communities will make tho dls nlay in better fashion than would be possible from here," said Mr. Chap man. "The exhibits arc flno things and this organization will co-operate 'n every way to get tho best results. Phe showing to he mado will reach the farmer rather than the city dwel ler, a most deslinbio consideration." AN OLD-TIME PRESCRIPTION lu n modern product.
