SEATTLE, Wash., Aug. 27. The flouring mills of the state will from today cease the operation of bleach ing flour. This action is taken by order of State Dairy and Food Com missioner L. Danes, who has just concluded an inspection of the mills of the state, and who declares that the practice of using chemicals to whiten flour is highly injurious. The commissioner allows tho mill ers 30 days in which to dispose of the bleached flour now on hand. SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENTS ON W. M. SMITH PLACE Chester Fitch, the new owner of tho W. M.
