FOREST FIRES RAGING IN NORTHERN IDAHO IJOISE, Idaho, Aug. 10.- Despite reassuring reports given out by or- ficials that forest fires are being brought under control, no such con dition obtains in tho Clcnrwatcr dis trict of northern Idaho, where tho flames are gaining headway hourly. Acording to advices received hero toay, a firo 20 miles long nnd nearly 10 miles wide is sweeping over tho district aljnccnt to the south fork of tho Clearwater river.
