TvHon, horticultural com missioner for tho Kilos district, Cal ifornia, reports as follows on tho fruit crep: Apricots, moro than a half crep: cherries, an averago crop; prunes, all varieties, vorv liirht. ox- copt sugar prunes, which will bo a full crop; pours will bo very light, having been badly damaged by thu thrips; poaches, a full crop. At Fullorton, Cal., tho young wul nuts, npricots, peaches and plums nro now far unotiirli advanced that esti mates of what tho crop will bo in this country can bo mado. Soma of tho walnut men say (ho crow will bo a littlo short, but thu ircuorfil oninion is that it will bo normal. Tho trees and nuts aro looking woll. Thoro will not bo over half a crop of npricots in OraiiKU county. Tho California apricot cron will not bo so largo as it was a year ago. It is expected that piekinir for div ing punches will begin about tho last wook in Junu nnd that picking for canning will begin about a week ear lier. Tho output this season prob ably will aggregate about 800 tons, while last year thoro woro about 1100 tons. Tho qunlity is expected to ho much belter thnn last year.
