He was unable to learn whether his call had been heard In the far away Island. SOUTHERN PACIFIC LOSES BIG CASE IN COURT SAN FRANCISCO, Cal., May 10. By order of Superior Judge Mu- Tasky, tho Southern Pacific company must carry out a repudiated contract for the purchase of lots on tho North Bench for the aggregate sum of -$722,039.
