The Modford Spirit is ftomothiiig worth copying. That activity, that energy, that united push and pull all along ono line and together that Med t'oid is displaying is worth copy ing. What Vale needs is tho Med ford Spirit. A little energy, a little local harmony, a little united effort properly applied would make Vah a city. Vale has the advantage of lo cution, land values and opportunity. There is a lock ready to be openod for any key at Vale, The Harriniau lilies are putting in their key line, the Hills are undoubtedly opening a lock to the interior. The irrigation lock is waiting for a key to our liiyh lauds, in fact there in everything here that the inventor can want. What we now need is local action and unity. The Oriaiio is going to work for that. We are going to k-o if we can't help bring something here. It is results that count. The Medford Spirit is active, it means something. It is now going to Washington and is going to get money for that big na tional park project, and it is going farther it is going to raise $100,- 000 itself to help in putting through that big park and national resort. Now, this is the spirit that counts. This is the spirit of development. This is what Vale needs, this spirit that Medford has. Our chamber of commerce must get down to action. They must do something. Internal improvements are good, but the ex ternal work is what counts. be lieve the opsjrtunity is hero and if the chamber takes hold of it, doos not fritter it away, then we cad get results. These are matters worth considering. LEGAL. SUMMONS. e In tho circuit court of tho state of Oregon for the co nifty of Jackson. Kffle U. Taylor, plaintiff, vs. Cory C. Taylor, defendant.
