WASHINGTON, D. C, Feb. 10. -Figures which may show thnt the "meat trust" may not alone be re sponsible for the. present high cost of living were issued today by the bu reau of statistics. The special statement which con tained the figures declared that the livestock, receipts at seven leading markets in the interior of the coun try for 1909 were considerably lower than for any year during the last w live years. j Livestock receipts at four principal j Atlantic seaboard markets were less than for 1907 and 1908.
