This compares with 25.450,000 barrels in 1908. This is the third year of indifforcnt apple crops and tho totals, named fall fur short of such seasons as 3906, 1901 jind that ovor-memorablo bumper crop of 1890, which is still discussed and recognized as a high-water mark in tho conventions of fruit growers and dealers. LAKE IS ONE OF Assessment Roll Shows Over $2000 for Every Inhabitant There. LAKEVIEW, Or., Nov. 5. The 1009 assessment roll for Lako coun ty has been completed and shows a remarkablo incrcaso over last year. Tho total valuation of tho county is fixed nt $8,099,139. This shows n valuation in excess of $2000 for every man, woman and child in the county. Tho statistics compiled by tho assessor show that there two. in Lako county 0778 horses and mules, 46, 130 head of cattle nnd 105,230 sheep.
