Pat was preceded in death by her two husbands, her parents, and her brother, David Waelty. Mrs. Huff is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ray of Southern Pines, NC and Toni Brown and her husband Sam of Madras, OR; son, William Huff and his wife Buffy of Lonerock; granddaughters, Ingrid Wil- liams and her husband of Navarre, FL, Annika Schin- kel of Prineville, OR and Arya Huff of Lonerock; grandson, Erik Hall and his wife Amy of Bellevue, WA; great-grandchildren, Erik and Savannah; and a sister, Dorothy Smith of Portland, OR. Sweeney Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. SBR I love you. Nola May Huff Nola May Huff, 79, of Lonerock, OR, died Sun- day, March 20, 2016 at St. Charles Medical Center in Redmond, OR. A funeral Mass was held March 29 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Heppner, fol- lowed by a burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Con- don, OR On May1 of 1952 Nola married William Huff. He preceded her in death on January 19, 2000. They made their home in Cen- tral Oregon, raising their children after settling in Terrebonne. After retiring from Jefferson County 509 School District, where she served as a school bus driv- er and educational assis- tant for the Warm Springs School for 22 years, in 1992 Nola and William moved to Lonerock, where they enjoyed retirement. Nola enjoyed travel- ing with her husband, vis- iting family, friends and grandchildren. She liked entertaining and having her friends and family visit her home in Lonerock. Nola hosted a golf tournament and Lonerock Lawn Mower Races annually. During the Christmas holidays, she and her husband hosted a St. Lucia Day Dinner. In re- cent years she coordinated an annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration at the Lonerock Community Church.
