Vinson, who passed through Sumpter Monday, en route home from his Tbomburg placers, near Granite, created a flutter among the press gaug in Baker City upon his arrival at that junction towu, by alighting from the train with a sua piciously heavy grip, which be guarded carefully. A passouger tipped it off to one of the pencil pushers that Vinson was bringing in the cleanup. As a result he was shadowed from the depot to his home, where a delegation of re porters Anally gained an audience with him. "Cleanup!" responded Vinson to a buuoh of rapid-Hro questions.
