Putnam's table was left piled high with canned fruit and other good things to eat. bC The nad news of the death of Miss f Ruth McElroy was reoeived in Athena Sunday and was received with sorrow by many people here. Miss Ruth was taken to Pasadena, California, some weeks ago by her mother, Mrs. B. F. McElroy, who with tbe family now resides at Cambridge, Idaho. She had been a sufferer for about five years with rheumatism, and other complica tions set in, ending in death. Burial took plaoe at Pasadena or Thanks giving day and Mrs. McElroy imme- ediately returned home. Ruth was 25 years old at tbe time of her death.
