The new machine will han- dle customer cash withdraw- als, and can also accept cash and check deposits from BEO customers. Gary Propheter, executive vice-president and chief op- erating officer at BEO, said, “This is the fourth smart ATM we’ve installed in small towns where banking services are needed.” Similar ATMs have been installed in Monument, Lakeview and Ontario, and another is scheduled to open in Wasco in June. “These smart machines give a community about 80 percent of what a branch can do, and we have been very happy with their perfor- mance,” Propheter said. BEO hopes to install more ATMs in other locations in the future. For more information, visit beobank.com.
