And WHEREAS the growth and development of Harney county has been retarded, by the entire lack of Railroad transpor tation Facilities. BE IT RESOLVED. That the Hums Commercial club is of record to unlto all thqlr energies and endeavors to promote, plead for and demand that thoy bu furnished a railroad, which will facilitate their business enterprise and aid in tho Development of Harney county, of which IiuriiH is tho county scat, that thoy make an urgent and pressing nppcal to the Commercial Organiza tions of Oregon for their moral and business support In bringing us near er civilization, The club clnlms that the Tonnage Is obtainable now and which of necessity will Increnso as tho county evolves Its Irrigation schemes, under tho State and Nation nl Reclamation services, and as' the country becomes settled up, tonnage will follow and the projected Lumber Mill will bu a source of revenue for years.
