Treasurer a.-vwoo In "Lost In Transit," Oeorgo Be ban's latest Paramount picture In which he will appear at the Liberty Theater, next Wednesday night, a new actor aged two and a half, and familiarly known as "Bob White," makes bjs acreea debut In an Impor tant role, although he has worked a few scenes In two other pictures, the first of which waa more or less of an accident. George neban was working In "A Roadside Impresario" In which, It will be remembered he danced with a trained bear to amuse a crowd of children. "Bob Whlto" was watch ing Mr. ltd, an and Hie bear dancing and they all aeemed to be having such a very gootl time that it soctm-i) n shame for a little chap Just run ning over with fun to be loft out. So "Hob White" Joyously cavort ed In. He skipped and danced right In under the cnnieramiin'H MtOhiOh id nose unit before that gentleman or anyone else had time to say Jack Itobliisou or "Hob White," he and Mr. It. h;ui had Jollied hands with Brsno, and were having the time of their lives. 8o the cameraman kept on grind ing and one ot the prettiest, most spontaneous scenes of filtndom was registered forever on the long strip of celluloid. As long as "Hob White" had boon In one scene they hud to lot him It) for the others and he enjoyed It ao much, and made such u hit that he was again UBed In Mr. Beban's next picture, "The Cook of Canyon Camp." Then Kathlyn Williams, who is a well-known screen star as well as an authoress and who had seen the youngster s performances from the "side lines" In tho studio, wrote "Lost In TraiiHlt" with "Hob White" and George Heban In mind. They worked through tho entire production together, "Hob" appear ing In nearly as many scenes as the star himself, and It would be diffi cult to decide which of the two en Joyed the proceeding more To "Hon White" It was just one long game which he played one of the strictest rules of which was not to look at the "lamina" as be tailed the grinding machine. MOB-HHVCHOMKiV. Moat of ua reason through our en thusiasms. When we learn to dis tinguish between Judgement and zeal we make fewer mistakes. It Is pleasanter to let our emotions guide us. We get a thrill with every thought. Most of our thoughts are wrong, but life becomes one long five-reel feature. Enthusiasm has Ita uses. It stimu lates a man to persevere when his resolution hae been taken. If his decision has been made In wisdom It Is well that this enthusiasm should never cool. In patriotism, which bas Its foundation In logic, we find the finest manifestation of enthusiasm. The mental processes of the we est minds are half emotion and Imitation. It is a case of "Monl see, monkey do." This Is the logic of mob violei Here we find the quality which spires the lynching bee, yet poses patriolsm. It animates sabots anarchy and sedition, yet masqt ades as the spirit ef democracy. When It causes a dozen half to blow up a munition factory It Hates as effectively against national liberties as when it lead hundred maniac to hang a suspec pro-Oerman.
