Dr. Benson's lecture on "Woman and Higher Education" at Tonawama last Thursday night was not as well attended as it Bhould have been. The speaker brought out some rather startling truths in a manner that few reliBh and picture the trend of the woman movement, its pos sible effect upon the home, socie ty and posterity and finally con cluded, however, that the higher education of woman and her en franchisement would result in great good as she really found her place and followed the course she was intended to fulfill by an all wise creator. but was not removed. A meeting of the school board was held last evening and Prin cipal Sutton was re-elected for a term of two years. This will be welcome news to almost every patron as they feel no better se lection could have been made. Prof. Sutton has made good as a principal and his work should not be turnetl over to another at this time. J. W.
