Mace met with a very serious and painful accident last Wednesday afternoon at her lioino near Burns when her team ran away, throwing she and her two daughters out. Mrs. Mace was crushed badly, four ribs broken, her lungs bruised and DM arm broken. Dr. Griffith was called at once and gave what relief possible, but the lady is in a serious condition. Her oldest daughter sustained a sprained wrist but the younger daughter escaped unharmed. They were driving in the gate from the lane at the Mace farm when the horses started to run. This is a feature that will be worth seeing and should be remembered by fair visitors Other Indian "stunts" that after noon will be foot races for both the Indian boys and siiuaws. One of the pretty features fur Friday afternoon will he a doll buggy parade participated in hy little girls under tho age of 10 years. Three cash prizes will be given tor the best decorated doll buggies. This afternoon will be a particular day for the school children and they will have other spurts in which to participate. The public school hoard has kindly consented to dismiss school any afternoon that the Association may designate and it is likely the children will have at least two entire al'toi nouns at the fair. The Times-Herald has not space to give the entire program as outlined but each afternoon! program will be announcuJ by distributing small dodgers.
