Standard, recently of St Louis, Mo., was an arrival in this city Wednesday evening and has decided to locate perma nently. Be will be joined hort ly by his wife, who is also a doc tor and Dr. Harlan A. Harris will be added to the firm later. The latter is now in the east where he will take extensive post graduate work. According to Dr. Standard he and his wife were for years asso ciated with some of the best ho -pitals in St. Louis and the lads has taken several post graduate courses in eye, ear, nose and throat work and makes that her specialty. Dr. Standard has opened negt -tiations with parties in Hums for a property in which this new firm of Doctors contemplate starting a modern, well equipped hospital with a graduate trained nurse in charge. Such an insti tution would De welcomed in Burns and if properly handled by skilled professionals able to do work would be a most beneficial addition to the town. Dr. Standard states he has spent the past twenty months looking over Washington, Idaho Assistant Supt. Holland of the P. L. S.
