Inquire at this office. Cripple Dick, tho Piute Indian, died last Saturday from pneu monia contracted from exposure when on n debauch. Dick was a bright boy nnd took up tho white mAn's ways when a youngster. Several yonrs ngo he attempted to go from town to the Indian camps on the hill on stilts and fell, dislocating his hip. The accident was not reported and it wns weeks before any of his white boy cronies, which inclu ded tho writer and other boys of that age, learned of it. At that timo tho Indians would have nq white doctor, therefore Dick went through life a cripple. He got to drinking whenever he could got liquor and this was the immediate cause of his death. NOTICE.
