Several hundred people on Sunday afternoon witnessed thu water fight between thu city department nnd the llrooks-Scanlon mill firemen, which was held at I o'clock on Greenwood avenue near tho viaduct. Chief Car Ion, who was referee, declared the fight a draw, uk neither team was forced from its position, and no men wero lost. During the lust three minutes of tho 15-minutu contest the teams weru given the ardor to advance and walk ed up to within 30 feet of each other. After the water fight the members of tho two teams and tho bnseball teams, which had played a practice game previously, were served refresh ments by tho Coffee club at the fire house.
