Reports for the year are considered by the board most gratifying. The financial report showed that there are about 81000 to the good in the treasury. The Ashland Patriotic fund presented the association with 81000 from the public war chest, which was applied on the indebted ness of the association, which reduced that amount to 85000. After paying the current year’s expenses, interest and insurance, and clearing up the ground of the old Park hotel, between 8500 and 5600 will be left in the treasury. Resolutions of apprecia tion were adopted by the board to be presented to Mr. Fuller for the successful work he had accom plished during the past session of Chautauqua.
