Astorlans who are fond of music should not fall to visit the Louvre, The Benson Logging Company, located near C'athlamet, Is said to be putting logs Into tidewater at the rate of 2O0.000 feet a day. Four trains are In operation taking the logs out of the woods, and about 100 men are employed. The logs are mostly fir, and are sold at the Port, land mills. The oack water from the Columbia Is reported to be rising eery rapidly in the Willamette. This. In conjunction with the continued cool weather.
