This censor ship has already been rigidly established at Key West. It Is said the censorship will be extended to Punta Gordo. GENERAL GOMEZ WAITING He Will Do the Vork on LanJ acd Our Navy will Take Care of the Front Doors. New York, April 25.-A dispatch to th Herald from Washington iay: Arrangement have been completed by this government to supply the Cuban In surgents with arm and ammunition. The government I preparing now to land in Cuba from 25.'10 to 7H,(rD standi of Improved Springfield rifle, a number of artill.-ry batterle. rapid-Are Maxim gum and an abundance of ammunition for the effective use of them. It cannot now be said when these munitions of war will be placed In the hand of tha Insurgent but when the proper time ar rive for the .i) armed Cuban to co operate with the American force they will be thoroughly armed and equipped for battle. When Estrada Palma and Iingadler-General Castillo visited the war department last week tha plans for delivering the arm were adopted. Gen eral Castillo 1 thoroughly familiar with the topography of Cuba and knows every road that leads to the coast and to safe anchorages for vessels. This government will probably thl week send a vessel to a secluded place along the coast. The vessel will have on board the arms and ammunition so anxiously wanted by the Cubans and It will be protected by on or two gunboat. On shore the large Cuban force will b In waiting. It Is said the entire Cuban army may be concentrated at this point under the protection of the guns of war ship. The munitions of war would be landed as rapidly as possible as a Urge number of men can do the work and the arms and ammunition will be taken to a place of safety for distribution. The ar rangements have been made by the Cu ban Junta and General Castillo in behalf of General Gomex and the latter will be at the head of his army to receive them on the day agreed upon when they will be ready for delivery. Il Is understood that this government will not deliver the arms to any person but General Gomes and he will, as a guarantee of good fahh, receive them. General Miles believes that If the Insur gents are properly armed and supplied with the artillery they have so long need ed they can do more effective work and render the American troops Invaluable aid In driving the Spaniards from tha island. This auxiliary service Is composed of vessels drawn from the merchant marine. The decision Is hailed with satisfaction by the populace In Spanish ports and coast towns. There Is a great denl of talk about keeping a sharp lookout for yachts belonging to Ameri can millionaires which, as the Imparclal ingenuously says, would be worth captur ing, as those In the Mediterranean alone at Ihe present time represent the value of many millions. Specially singled out are the Valiant, Margarita, Sultana, Nahma and Arcturus.
