Notice Is hereby given that the Com mon Council propose to order the im provement of that portion of West Sixth street in the city of Astoria as laid out and recorded by J. 51. Shively in Clatsop comity, Oregon, from the south side of Water street to the south side of Cedar street, by removing all de fective piles, caps and stringers and re placing them with new andtound piles, caps and s'ringcrs, and by raising it to the established grade, and by planking the same with new and sound fir plank four inches in thickness to the full width of the street, and by building sidewalks on both sides of said portion of said street. Said improvement to be made at the expense of the adjacent property. And unless a remonstrance Mgned by the owners of two-thirds of the properpty fronting on said portion of said street be filed with the Auditor and Police Judge within ten days after the final publication of this notice, to wit: On or before Saturday April 20th 1SK) the Common Council will order said improvement to be made.
