To begin with, wo wish to state that the following story is strictly true, and not published as an advertisement of the Louisiana lottery company. The facts of the case are vouched for by Governor Stevenson, Charles Friend, postmaster White, and several other equally trustworthy persons. About a mouth ago Louis Colon, a man employed at the railroad shop9, Ireamed that ho had drawn a large irizent the Louisiana lottery drawing y securing ticket Wo. buayb. Jae aid little attention to the dream, out the next night he again dreamed it He then became convinced that he would win if he secured the ticket, and going down to Sweeny's asked for the number. Judge his astonishment when he was told that Henry Meyers, a Carson valley ranch er, had purchased the ticket not a moment before. Going to the faro room he found Meyers, and asked him if he wanted to sell his lottery ticket. Meyers declined, saying that a medium had told him that this ticket would draw ono of the five capital prizes. Colon then told him of his dream, and finally Colon paid Meyers $100 cash for a half interest. He also told Governor Stevenson, Friend and "White of his dream, and also several parties about the shops. Everybody was laughing at Colon's Jream, but when the day approached tor the numbers to be telegraphed several parties offered him 10 for in interest in his ticket, whioh ho refused. Sure enough, the numbers were telegraphed, and No. 36,396 wasn't there. Then the man it dreams carefully scanned the whole list and figured on the approx mate prizes, but no sign of No. 86, 590. That this dream did not come )ut true is the remarkable part of it, and causes general comment among Colon's friends. If auybody has care ?ully perused this story exjjeoting to see the dreamer get the capitul prize it the end, he or she can call at this ffice and get the subscription re funded. "Wo are telling a straight, true story, and will not round off any story different from the truth just to pleaso the popular taste for romance. Carson Appeal.
