The occasion for mak ing this important statement will be the introduction in the upper house of the Prusian diet of the new eccles;astical bill. It is also an nounced here that the pope, de siring tomeetPiussia's views even in the matter of ecclesiast cal dis cipline and appointment, will fa vor the nomination of Dr. Kopp to the bishopric of Breslau.
