Still, nearly 50 people gath- ered at Darlings Marina and RV Resort at Siltcoos Lake. “Our lighted boats all stayed ashore due to the hazardous conditions, but the weather did not drown our spirts,” says Rich Olson, co-owner of the resort, “We managed to raise nearly $1,300 for Home Front War Relief, a program of The Salvation Army serving veter- ans and their families.” Lori Olson prepared a deli- cious spaghetti dinner that helped raise most of the money.
