The display of Mor row couniy products was not nearly so large as it should have been but the re Bults speak well for the county never theless. Miss Edna Woolery, of lone, is the champion maker of homemade candy in Morrow county. Laving earned off the second prize at fair and outclassing all other competitors from this county. It is a matter of congratulation that a very large number of the premiums not mentioned in the above report were secured by Morrow county people, notably those of Irrigon, who seem to have bad the best of almost everything io which they were particularly inter ested. Earnsworth of Heppner, and is now engaged iD the stock, business near Monument, and the bride is the youngest daughter of Mrs. V. B. Jenks o Monument. Jas. Angus has returned to Heppner to take charge of the W O Minor Shorthorns at Mountain Valley Farm. He is said to be one of the best caretakers on the coast and is no doubt clad to be in charge of the Minor herd again He will keep them to the front as the champion herd of the Pacific slope. Right Rev. Charles J. O'Reilly, D. D., Bishop of Baker City, will make an official visitation at the Catholic church this Sunday. He will celebrate mass and administer Holy Communion at eight o'clock At the 10:30 o'clock mass he will preach the Bermon. Confirmation will be administered at three o'clock followed by sermon and benediction, Franklin P. Whetstone and Miss Nettie May Armstrong were married at the home of the bride's parents in Pendleton on last Wed nesday, Rev. N.
