He was taken to Portland for treat- ment Governor Frank Benson, of Oregon, who has been io San Francisco undergoing medical treatment, has started for Oregon to resame 'kis executive duties. Governor Benson is believed to be in good physical condition to make the race for secretary of state, for which offioe he was nominated by the Republicans at the primaries. After intermittent . X-ray treat ments in San Fiancisoo for a pe riod of three years, specialists have decided that the governor is cured. Benson suffered from lu. pus, a rare disease, sonipwhat sim ilar to cancer, the growth, how ever, having no roots.
