The total is St. 043,000,000, or an average of $104,250,000 yearly. The expenditures beginning with $84, 750,000 in 1908 rise to $101 250,000 in 19C0; $110,000,000 in 1910, and 8115,250, 000 in 1911, hence declining to $104,250, 000 in 1911. The ministry's estimate officially submitted to the Reichstag in 1900 for the same period totals $245, 500,000 lu88, so that the modified pro gramme brought in by the .Government for the approval of Parliament costs on an average of $24,500,000 more yearly. This plant is cairied on to a profit, and if it can be d me there it could be done here to a greater advantage. The railroad business at Eugene is much larger than ever be ore.
