Mrs. Blackmail is one of Ood's noble women and is held in the highest esteem by ail who know ber. She haa been prominent in lodge and bocial circles Bnd for amy years has been the prime jnover in the Eastern Star lodge in -fLia city. In appreciation of this fact the ledge presented her with a beautiful emblematic pin. Speeches and music were the 1 principal teat ares of the evening and an elegant lunch was served In the banquet hall by the ladies of the Star. The party was a com plete surprise to Mrs. Blackman.
