He went back to lone Tuesday morning. Judge Lean came over from Fendletou, Monday evening and called a short session of circuit court Tuesday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Borg left Monday for St. Martins Warm Spnnga, where Mr. Borg goes for treatment for rheumatism. Lulu Bolton, of Lebonan, left for Milton Monday morning, after visiting three weeks with her rela tives, Prof. Reid's of this place. M. Hasenburg, brother-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Blackmail, and who lias been visiting in Heppner the naat two months, left lor his home in Sun Francisco Monday morning Percy Garriues loft Tuesday morniue for Denver, Colo., to attend the Grand Lodgo of Elks Fercy is grand representative from Heppner Lodge No. .'!5S. The three-year-old son of Geo. Hayden, of Hardmon, died in Portland, the forepart of the week. The remains were brought to this city Tuesday and were taken out to Kheler basin for burial. Otis Patterson, erstwhile editor, receiver of The Dalles land oflice and all around politician, but now traveling for Schilling's Dost, was doing Prineville the first of the week.
