It has been necessary to frect 50 offices and other buildings. One cement mil has been constructed, the product of which al- j ready amounts to 15, 0 barrels. Besides the cemeut nunuf ictured by the reclamation service, use has been foun 1 f )- 78,000 additional barrels of c -ment, which were purchased in open market. Over 2,880,000 feet of lumber, have been sawed for the work f'f con s ruction and 1750,000 feet in addition have been purchased. The concrete completed amounts to 70,000 cubic yardsjthe pudlling done to :5 !0 cubic yards, th riprap completr d to 12,00' I cubic yards, and the paving to 190 000 square feet.
