Grant county case, L O. Sterns sent
what is called a resignation o f his seat
in the Senate to the Governor, and that
John A . Drihblesby presented his cer
tificate of election, aud the committee
recommend that John A Dribbie.-by be
allowed his seat in the Senate. The
committee further report that in 1866

were elected Senators from 31ultnomah
county; that one o f the above named
Senators was entitled to hold office for
the term o f four years from that elee.
