Aug. 15. AD...UI twenty o Echo's residents took udvantage of the sha'le furnished by the grove of trees about the school house on Sun day and spent most of the day there. The novelty of the gathering was that the men prepared the entire lunch. There was an abundance of everything except -bread, but on ac count of the .conservation of food stuff, especially wheat. It could not be wondered at. A very pleasant so cial time was had. 8. P. Hunkers and family were In town Monday from their wheat farm Mrs. It- E. Husted of Burlingham.
