A very delightful meeting of the tpworth League of the Methodist church waa held last evening at the nome of Mrs. w. J. Stockman on Garfield street. The feature of the ProKram was an interesting and In structive talk on missions in India by Mlsa Holmes, a retired missionary who has spent many years In the Far r-astern field. As a result of her talk the League members decided to as sume a half scholarship for a girl student in one of the mission schools for three years. At the conclusion of the program dainty refreshments were served. The wedding of Miss Catherine lzed yesterday afternoon at the home of the bride's mother. The bridal coupl were attended, by Miss Rosena Schock. as bridesmaid and Mr. Ernest Ruoff. Jr., who acted as eromsraan. The bride "was attired In white em broidered net, wore a tulle veil caught with orange blossoms and carried an arm (bouquet of bride's roses. Miss Schock wore pink tSLffeta and carrier! pink rosea. A wedding luncheon was served following the ceremony, the appointments carrying outi a color scheme of pink and white; Mr. and Mr. Lembcke left last evening for California, later returnfng to Helix, where they will make thir home.
