Wendell Brown, the second trick operator at Duncan has been suffering with la grippe but is convalescing slowly and able to tend to his duty. Mr and Mrs. Alfred Boucher, the forest fanners, made a visit to Pen dleton Wednesday and Thursday. - Mrs. Hazel Foster, daughter of Mrs. Woods, an agent at Duncan, It visiting her mother. Frank Bryant, the section foreman has been very busy with his crew to permit ipawage to trains which have been hindered by snow storms. Kugene M-Cann, the third trick operator, made a brief visit in town. Martin McLaughlin Is very anxious for spring to arrive after a long siege of feeding his stock on hay.
