Democrats and republicans alike generally re garded the president's Indianapolis speech as an announcement of his candidacy for re-election. President Wilson was much pleased with his re ceptlon at Indianapolis. "There may come a time." the pres ident told his audience In Indianapolis, "when the American people will have to Judge whether I know what I'm talking about."
